MCP guide

Give your agent the right tools.

Model Context Protocol gives compatible AI applications a standard way to discover and call tools. In Faryen, those tools should operate inside the workspaces and permissions you choose.

Start with a useful task

Give the agent a concrete goal and the workspace it belongs to. A good request names the accounts, timing, and whether you want a draft or an action.

“Show the gaps in next week's calendar for Studio North.”

“Prepare an Instagram carousel draft for our Friday launch. Leave it for review.”

“Summarize last week's available engagement metrics by account.”

Review the actions that publish

Calendar reads and draft preparation are useful starting points. Scheduling, publishing, deleting, and changing connections have different effects and need explicit authorization.

Ask the agent to show the proposed captions, media, destinations, comments, and exact scheduled time before it submits a publishing action. Your AI client's approval controls are part of that workflow.

Ask for the result, too

A tool call that accepts a schedule has completed the scheduling step. It has not confirmed publication on a social network.

Have the agent check the destination results and report accounts that need attention. If the provider response is uncertain, it should request verification rather than silently publish the content again.

Connecting an MCP client

The connection guide will include the hosted server address, authorization flow, permission choices, and configuration examples for tested clients. Compatibility will be documented per client when the service is released.

About the protocol

MCP defines the connection between the AI application and its tools. Platform account requirements and publishing formats still apply to the actions performed through those tools.
